Publish skins and manage My skins
Every option when you publish — name, keywords, who can see it, thumbnail, custom link, group — and how to edit, sort, hide or delete your skins later.
4 min read · 4 steps · Beginner
Step 1: Fill in the upload window
Press Upload Skin on the Skins page (or Publish to gallery on Upload / Export). Drop your skin PNG (64×64, 128×128 or 256×256), click to pick it, or paste it with Ctrl + V. Your skin shows in 3D — drag to turn it.
Skin name: if someone already used the name you can still use it. If this exact PNG is already in your skins, you are told so.
Keywords help people find it (ideas are shown), and Description is optional.
Step 2: Who can see it
Only me saves it to your profile only; you can publish it later from My skins.
Public · Male, Public · Female or Public · Unisex puts it in the gallery under that group.
Step 3: Thumbnail, custom link and group
Thumbnail sets how your skin shows up in the gallery, in 3 steps: 1 · Pose (Standing, a preset, or pose it yourself), 2 · Style (Classic front and back, Single full body, Portrait head close-up, Turnaround front / side / back, Hero low dramatic angle) and 3 · Direction (Front, Front ¾, sides or Back). Pick a Background (White, Dark, Mint, Violet or any colour). Reset to default starts over.
Custom link (optional) gives your skin a nicer web address after /skin/.
Group (optional) sorts the skin into one of your own groups — pick one or make a new one.
Step 4: Manage My skins
Open Profile → My skins (or My Skins in your user menu). Filter by All, Public or Private, and Sort by Newest, Oldest, Most downloaded or Top rated.
Press Edit on a skin to change its Name, Description, Keywords and Gender, to Make private or Publish to gallery, or to delete it (Yes, delete — this is for good). The globe button opens its public page.
